Now i'll REALLY bring you up to speed...

This post actually updates you about all of the things that i am currently working on in Pivot AND Blender.

Right now I am currently working on an 8-question fan meme for the movie WALL-E.

Yes, I am a 15-year-old male who has beaten Guitar Hero, listens to the band Rise Against, and his favorite movie is.......WALL-E.

....

STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I have rendered all 8 stickman sketches for the 8 questions (and then some....*wink*) and have sorted them into Windows Movie Maker for the sound mixing!!!! *breakdance*

Among other places, I will be using exclusive sounds from a vignette of Wall-E meeting a vaccum cleaner, so those of you who like Wall-E out there, you can watch for that.

I will also post exclusive stuff here once people start following me, like sounds, screenshots, and project updates here. Maybe even clips. but ONLY IF PEOPLE SUBSCRIBE! I MEAN FOLLOW!!!

BLENDER--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, so I recently ordered a book called Blender For Dummies (they have dummy books for everything :P), which is supposed to explain how to do stuff in Blender, so once I get that it may unlock some key components in the system, so I might actually start to get somewhere.

And don't orry, i'm gonna take a lot of time to go over the book....i'm not gonna read it all in one night. What I will do, I will read it chapter by chapter, test it out on the computer after reading it, fool around a bit, and report my findings!

So, that way, you will be learning along with me!

Lemme bring you up to speed...

Hey, I am goldenacorn93, known on YouTube as goldenacorn93, and on walleforum.com, I am known by everyone there as goldenacorn93. Don't hurt yourself trying to memorize all that. :D

All I have to say is that I am 15 and I live in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Yes, both. At the same time.

I created this blog here because a friend of mine at school suggested it. I figured that I could have a lot to tell people about my animating, so I figured, "Why not?" There's probably a thousand other blogs exactly like this, so I don't really see the point of making one myself, but if people start following this one, it might actually get interesting.

So, the reason I named my blog that, is because I animate in 2 programs now: Pivot Stickman Animator, and Blender 3D computer graphics. And apparently, spelling the word "the" incorrectly is in-style now. Go figure.

I use Pivot for all my proffesional work....I have a video up on YouTube already which is just a SFOC-like mash-up of random short Pivot sketches. Go there now, search my profile, and click on the vid with the stick dude sitting at the table, and watch the vid. From what I hear, it generates a lot of lolz.

As with Blender....I just got it recently, and to be honest....i'm a n00b. I made a vase using Blender. And that's it. I have NO FREAKING IDEA WHAT I AM DOING!!!!!! If you've seen just the interface ALONE, you know that it is extremely complicated. It takes a ton of work. And yet, I still hope to master it someday and make a character on it that i've been thinking about for 3 years now.... :o

So, I am a master at one, and a n00b at the other. *epic voice* The king and the peasant. The win and the n00b. The master and the learner. Two Programs. Two ability levels. Same 9th grader.

I can already tell this is gonna be epic.
